LLLLLLLL: Is this an Homage to Tetris in Sudoku

Today's Puzzle:

After yesterday's arcade puzzle, I am seeing video games everywhere. Either psninn just likes the letter L, or this is Tetris.

Regardless of the design reason, it's an extraordinary puzzle with a fascinating solve path.
