These are two separate German Whisper lines, meeting at one cell. Each line alternates low and high digits.
First line: A–B–A
On the first line, its two ends have the same colour. The shared middle cell has the opposite colour.
Second line: B–A–B
The second line also alternates. Its first and last cells match, and its middle cell is opposite.
One linked pattern
Because both lines use this very same cell, their colours lock together. These three cells share one side; these two share the other.

We do not know which side is low yet. But a clue anywhere on either line will now colour both lines at once.
