These two green Whisper lines are linked by one black dot. The given one can tell us which side both lines use.
Left line: high · low · high
One is low. A German Whisper must alternate sides, so the cells above and below it are both high.
High through a black dot → low
The top-left cell is high. Across its black dot, the only possible partners are low: six pairs with three, or eight pairs with four.
Right line: low · high · low
So the right Whisper starts low, rises high in the middle, and ends low. One dot has settled the other line’s orientation.
